This took me about a month to do, and I worked on it pretty much every night. I'm very happy with how it turned out in the end.

I like the idea of the girl looking so serenely at the strange creature because it's something completely normal in her world.

I took a new picture of this (outside on a cloudy day) and I think it looks a lot better than the scan I did.

:bulletblue: The only real issue with the shadows i see is the fact that they are a little dull for the mood of this piece.

:bulletblue: Watch out for the alignment of the face as well her lips are off center and so is her jaw

:bulletblue: As for the pond... It could use more ripples I don't think i have seen a pond so still before. Now the ripples don't have to be major drawn lines maybe just some shading differences some darker shading where the base of the ripple is and erase a little bit on top of the ripple (not much) The lightening of the values will give the appearance of light.

:bulletblue: Your trees look like cylinders standing on the ground i would give them some roots then again it adds to the surreal effect of your drawing.

:bulletblue: If you arn't going for the surreal effect I would suggest fixing the branches as well. If you observe deciduous trees you will find their branches split off in series of threes.

:bulletblue: Darkening up the grass a bit in some areas would create an interesting effect. Or if you drew some of the grass bending to one side like the winds is blowing slightly. That would create a visual atmosphere.
